EASY UPKEEP HVAC CHECKUP PLAN DESCRIPTION
The Easy Upkeep plan is an HVAC preventive maintenance service. You get a checkup of a pre-determined list of HVAC components — twice a year: 1 for cooling and 1 for heating.
Checkups must be scheduled between February 15th through May 15th (cooling) and August 15th through November 15th (heating).
There is no monthly cost; however, there is a $55 service call fee per visit.
You get a $25 A/C filter credit.
You get up to $50 emergency locksmith reimbursement (once a year).
You get up to $1,200 emergency lodging reimbursement (once a year).
You get discounts on appliance purchases.

Do you have written/more information about the plan?
Yes. Once you become a Made cardholder, we’ll process your enrollment into the plan and you’ll be sent a welcome kit with everything you need to know about the plan, including features, benefits and terms and conditions.
How much does this plan cost?
There is no monthly cost, however, you will pay is a $55 service call fee per visit.
What does the HVAC checkup include?
Cooling (1 visit):
Check and clear primary and secondary condensate lines and pans
Test temperature rise and drop of furnace, A/C and heat pump
Inspect condenser coil
Check system operating pressures (refrigerant levels)
Check belts and pulleys; adjust if necessary
Lubricate motors if oil ports are accessible
Check amp draw of evaporator motor
Check amp draw of condenser motor
Check amp draw of compressor
Check thermostat operation
Inspect filter; replace if customer has a replacement filter
General inspection of wiring in the A/C unit
Inspect evaporator coil if accessible
Heating (1 visit):
Check crankcase heater operation for heat pumps
Inspect furnace chambers and burners
Check controls of safeties on furnace
Visual inspection of expose flue pipe
Test temperature rise and drop of furnace and heat pump
Perform a general inspection of wiring in furnace
Check thermostat operation
How do I set up my HVAC checkup?
In your welcome kit, you’ll see everything that is included in the checkup. Just call the phone number in the welcome kit and set up your checkup appointment.
Is there a waiting period/When does the plan begin?
There is no waiting period except that checkups must be scheduled between February 15th through May 15th for cooling and between August 15th through November 15th for heating.

HVAC - What if my A/C or heating system is really old?
It doesn’t matter the age, make or model of your a/c or heating system, your system is eligible for the checkups.

You can cancel your plan by calling Made customer service at 1-888-365-MADE (6233).
How do I get my $25 filter credit?
Once your plan is active, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to access your $25 filter credit.
